Enrollment/Application Information

  • How do I enroll?

    To enroll, complete and submit an online application available here.

  • How much does it cost?

    iSucceed Virtual High School is tuition free for students between the age of 14 and 20.

  • I completed the online application. What happens now?

    You will receive a confirmation email that includes your enrollment advisor's contact information. Give them a call as soon as possible to finalize enrollment. In addition, this email will include a link to a system called DocuSign. Please enter this site to electronically complete all of the required iSucceed enrollment forms.

  • What is DocuSign?

    DocuSign is a web portal that allows students and parents to electronically complete and sign iSucceed's enrollment documents.

  • If I don't complete the application, can I access it later?

    Yes, to go back to your previous applications, simply click the "Enroll Now" button on the iSucceed website. Enter your username and password, then it will take you back to the application and all of the information you previously entered will be saved.

  • I don't have all of the documents I need right now. Can I still enroll?

    If you don't have all of the documents you need to complete the enrollment process, please complete the online application and an enrollment advisor will be in contact with you to assist you.

  • I forgot my username and/or password.

    The original email you received during the application process has your username and password information. You may also contact any enrollment advisor by calling our main number at 855.375.3116; they will be available Monday–Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • Do you have a course catalog?

    Yes, please click here to view our course catalog.

  • What is the status of my application?

    Each application is different. The more information and documents you are able to provide upfront, the quicker your application can be processed. An enrollment advisor will be in contact with you within 72 hours of submitting an application.

  • Can I enroll if I've been suspended/expelled?

    If a student was previously suspended/expelled from another school or district, they may still apply at iSucceed. However, each case will be reviewed including discipline, academic and attendance history from current and former school districts taken into consideration. As a public school, iSucceed Virtual High School will evaluate and may honor current expulsions from other districts on a case-by-case basis.

  • What if I have been home schooled?

    Students who have been previously home schooled may attend iSucceed Virtual High School. However, portfolios and transcripts will be reviewed and approved at the discretion of school administration and the Board of the Directors to determine whether or not credits will be accepted.

Academic Information

  • What classes does iSucceed offer?

    Our highly structured and engaging curriculum includes all the core academic subjects—math, English, social studies and science—and some electives to prepare students for graduation. We utilize a variety of nationally-renowned textbook and media providers, and we encompass all learning styles.

  • Will I get a diploma through iSucceed?

    All our classes are fully aligned with Idaho state standards, and you will graduate with fully-accredited Idaho high school diploma.

  • How do I interact with my teachers?

    Your teachers will communicate with you every week through phone calls, messages, Adobe Sessions, email, blogs and discussion boards. Many students report that they communicate more here than they ever did with their teachers in a traditional school.

  • How is attendance determined?

    Students are required to attend 30 hours of class week. Every day, there will be a popup menu for the student's attendance, which is where daily attendance is recorded by the students and confirmed by the parent. It is advised by iSucceed to have daily log-ins and about three to four hours of coursework daily to help ensure students are successful. Any time spent away from your computer that involves educational activities is considered attendance.

  • Can I drop or change a course?

    It depends. Please discuss this with your guidance counselor, who will be able to guide you through the process.

  • Can I be enrolled dually at another high school?

    All dual enrollment requests must be approved by the iSucceed Guidance Counselor. If you are interested in dual enrollment, please contact the school to discuss your situation.

  • How may credits are required for graduation?

    A minimum of 46 credits is required by the State of Idaho, broken down by various subjects to earn your high school diploma. Currently, this is the model followed by iSucceed Virtual high school.

  • How many credits does each class give me?

    Each course passed is worth one credit.

  • How many courses will I take at time?

    In most cases, new students are assigned three courses.

  • When I complete my course, can I add more?

    You can only add courses if it's before the add/drop date for each 9-week block.

  • Is all iSucceed curriculum online?

    Yes. All course curriculum, hyperlinks, resources, etc. are online and accessed when courses are launched within the FlipSwitch learning management system (LMS). Depending on the class, you may have some offline work required as all.

  • Does iSucceed offer summer classes?

    As of now, iSucceed does not offer summer courses.

  • How do I order transcripts?

    Students must remember to request transcripts from iSucceed once their class grades have been posted as they are not automatically forwarded.

Parent Information

  • Do your teachers meet the same requirements as traditional school teachers?

    Yes, all of our instructional staff are highly-qualified, certified teachers and meet all state requirements.

  • How do you work with students who have special needs?

    iSucceed's special education department provides individualized attention and support to special needs. A teacher/caseworker is assigned to each student from the time of enrollment and throughout all courses.

  • Is iSucceed Accredited?

    Yes, we are accredited with AdvancED. iSucceed Virtual High School has been accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) since its inception, and is recognized by the Idaho Public School Charter Commission. This means that an iSucceed diploma is recognized by colleges, universities and employers, and is as valuable a degree  from any Idaho high school.

Technology & Access Information

  • I forgot my password. What do I do?

    To reset your password, click the "Forgot Password?" option on the Login page. A password reset link will be emailed to you. Reset your password within an hour of receiving the password reset link and continue to complete the login.

  • I broke my computer or other school-issued equipment, will it be replaced?

    No. Negligence or mistreatment of equipment are not appropriate reasons for replacement. Each incident reported to support@isucceedvhs.zendesk.com will be treated on a case-by-case basis.

  • Where can I complete my courses?

    As an iSucceed Virtual High School student, you can do all your schoolwork from your own home, at your local library or at a nearby community center; virtually anywhere a computer and the internet can be accessed. Coursework can be accessed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so there is no specific window of time students must be logged in.

  2. My daughter has struggled with traditional brick and morter she is 16 and a junior but not on track to graduate. I have struggled to help her be successful because I can’t tell when she gets behind until she’s so far behind its nearly impossible to catch up and only causes stress. Would I have the ability to see her assignments and due dates to allow me to work with her task management and time management skills?

Is it possible for me to transfer to this school from my other online school? If yes, will I still be able to graduate on time?

  20. I failed 9th grade due to a personal issue from the beginning of the year. I went through k12 and ended up being withdrawn from their school. Can I still apply? If so, is there anyway I can make up those credits to get back up to speed?

  21. I still haven’t received my diploma. I know I have a bit of time, but I would like to get it to the college I will be attending, so I cam complete the admission process. Any ideas on how long it will be? When I emailed on June 6, I was told they would be mailed the following week.

  23. I was wondering what the graduation requirements are. What classes are required, is it just that you get the 46 credits, then you can graduate?

  24. My student has a summer birthday and is old enough to be in 9th grade, but currently attends 8th grade and is taking 9th grade math (algebra). Is he eligible for 4th quarter enrollment?

  29. As a parent to perhaps a future student of your online school I do have some questions. Does your school send a student a computer to do their school work on or are they to have their own? If a student has been homeschooled, what kind of documents are needed? Then how long will it take before a parent knows if their child has or has not been accepted? And what about if a child went to public school for awhile. As well as being homeschooled by the parent through different times of the school years?
