What is Dual Enrollment?

Dual Enrollment is when a student will be attending two different schools.

Can I be dually enrolled at another high school?

Yes, you can as long as you take at least 5 classes with us, including all core classes.

Does iSucceed offer concurrent credit for college courses?

Yes.  We work with colleges and universities across Idaho.  College courses transfer as 1 high school credit. For example, a 5-credit college class is the equivalent of 1 high school credit.

How many credits are required for graduation and what classes do I have to take?

A minimum of 46 credits is required by the State of Idaho, broken down by various subjects (see min grad requirement document attached) to earn your high school diploma. Currently, this is the model followed by iSucceed Virtual High School.

How many credits does each class give me?

Each course passed is worth 1 credit.

How many classes must I have to go to your school?

In most cases, new students are assigned 5 courses their first semester, and 6 courses per semester thereafter.

Is all iSucceed curriculum online?

Yes. All course curriculum, hyperlinks, resources, etc. are online and accessed when classes are launched within the FlipSwitch learning management system (LMS).  Depending on the class, you might have some offline work required as well.

When I complete my classes can I have more?

You can only add classes if it’s before the add/drop date for each semester (see school calendar)
